MAMEM’s main objectives and the work done so far were presented to a group of high school students at the facilities of CERTH. The EEG signal acquisition based on Steady State Evoked Potential (SSVEP) stimulation was demonstrated, with students being particularly intrigued by the process and at the same time making connections with Steven Hawking’s condition and ability to communicate.
