MAMEM was presented and discussed in Alzheimer’s Europe meeting in Luxemburg where Patient Organizations, Regulators, Pharmaceutical Companies related to neurodegenerative disorders and other pathologies such as Parkinson’s and neuromuscular diseases are interested. CERTH was present while also many psychologists, neurologists and other clinicians with outstanding career in the field of neurodegeneration, to update the community for the latest research in Alzheimer’s and other related disorders such as Parkinson’s disease. Many projects were thoroughly discussed and presented, paving the way towards a new approach to the classification of neurodegenerative diseases, particularly Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases, thereby improving drug development, investigating novel solutions and increasing patients’ chances of receiving a treatment that works for them. The important role of MAMEM as an innovative project was highly recognised and highlighted by all Associations and pharmaceutical industries.
